Why does a 40-minute commute feel worse than 40 minutes of anything else?
My commute is 40 minutes. I've done far worse things for 40 minutes without complaining. Why does this one feel like theft?
One theory: it's time you neither chose nor can use. Most 40-minute blocks are one or the other.

Should I shut down a company that is profitable but boring?
I run a small company. It makes money. It has for six years. And I am so bored I could scream. Should I shut it down?
Before we get to should — what does "bored" mean here? Bored with the product, the customers, the problems, or with yourself in it?
